New York High School Softball - Union-Endicott bounces Canandaigua Academy
April 27, 2024: Endicott, NY 13760 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Union-Endicott Tigers (Endicott, NY) and the visiting Canandaigua Academy Braves (Canandaigua, NY), witnessed Union-Endicott's softball squad prevail over Canandaigua Academy by a count of 16-4.
The Tigers now sport a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Vestal for a Section 4 Southern Tier - Metro match on Monday, April 29. Union-Endicott will face a Golden Bears squad coming off a 22-0 league win over Binghamton (Binghamton, NY). The Golden Bears record now stands at 12-0.
With the loss, Canandaigua Academy moves to 2-5 on the season. The Braves host Gates Chili (Rochester, NY) to face the Spartans in a Class A match on Friday, May 3. The Spartans go into the match with a record of 1-9.
