New York High School Softball - Columbia bounces John Jay
April 27, 2024: Hopewell Junction, NY 12533 The Columbia Blue Devils routed the host John Jay Patriots softball squad by a count of 5-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Blue Devils (9-4) will now prepare for their battle against Saratoga Springs (Saratoga Springs, NY). The Blue Streaks go into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Saratoga Springs was routed by Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY), 5-4, in a league battle.
The Patriots now sport a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Arlington for a Section 1 I - A battle on Tuesday, April 30.
