New Jersey High School Softball - Deptford bounces Salem
April 27, 2024: Salem, NJ 08079 Deptford Spartans (Deptford, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Salem Rams (Salem, NJ), 11-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Spartans now own a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host Cumberland for a Tri-County - Liberty challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Deptford will face a Colts squad coming off a 13-10 non-league win over Williamstown (Williamstown, NJ). The Colts record now stands at 1-11.
With the loss, Salem falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Cape May County Tech (Cape May Court House, NJ) to face the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 29. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 4-6. Cape May County Tech won 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Lower Cape May (Cape May, NJ)
