Wisconsin High School Softball - Eau Claire North bounces Lakeland
April 27, 2024: Eau Claire, WI 54703 Eau Claire North Huskies (Eau Claire, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lakeland Thunderbirds (Minocqua, WI), 18-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Huskies now own a 6-9 record. They take the field next when they host Menomonie for a Big Rivers challenge on Tuesday, April 30. Eau Claire North will battle a Mustangs squad coming off a 4-2 league win over River Falls (River Falls, WI). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-4.
With the loss, Lakeland falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Tomahawk (Tomahawk, WI) to battle the Hatchets in a Great Northern challenge on Monday, April 29. The Hatchets enter the challenge with a record of 5-7. Tomahawk lost 9-0 in their recent league challenge against Mosinee (Mosinee, WI)
