April 27, 2024: Lake Orion, MI 48360 The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Lake Orion Dragons (Lake Orion, MI) and the visiting Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI), saw Lake Orion's softball squad achieve victory over Escanaba by a count of 12-3.
The Dragons now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hartland for a non-league match on Saturday, April 27. Lake Orion will face a Eagles squad coming off a 10-6 league win over Novi (Novi, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Escanaba falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Eskymos host Kingsford (Kingsford, MI) to face the Flivvers in a Great Northern U.P. match on Tuesday, April 30. The Flivvers enter the match with a record of 3-2.
