Illinois High School Softball - Lincoln-Way East bounces Warren Township
April 27, 2024: Frankfort, IL 60423 The Lincoln-Way East Griffins routed the visiting Warren Township Blue Devils softball squad by a count of 11-6 in Saturday's non-league battle.
The Griffins (16-8) will now prepare for their battle against Lockport (Lockport, IL). The Porters go into the SouthWest Suburban battle with a 15-7 record. In their last battle, Lockport nudged Lake Zurich (Lake Zurich, IL), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Blue Devils now sport a 15-5 record. They play next when they travel to Stevenson for a North Suburban battle on Monday, April 29. Warren Township will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 18-0 non-league win over Trinity (River Forest, IL). The Patriots record now stands at 12-6.
