The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Chattanooga Christian Chargers (Chattanooga, TN) and the host Walker Valley Mustangs (Cleveland, TN), observed Chattanooga Christian's softball team get by Walker Valley by a tally of 3-2.

The Chargers (17-6) will now prepare for their bout against Stewarts Creek (Smyrna, TN). The Red Hawks go into the non-league bout with a 19-0 record.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Ooltewah Owls (Ooltewah, TN) in a 4A District 5 test, on Friday, May 1. Walker Valley will attempt to advance on its 27-8 season record. The Owls go into the test with a 22-9 record after their 6-4 non-league win over Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN).
