Pennsylvania High School Softball - Northwestern bounces Maplewood
April 27, 2026: Guys Mills, PA 16327 In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Northwestern Wildcats softball team scored a nice 13-0 win over the Maplewood Tigers.
The Wildcats (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Fairview (Fairview, PA). The Tigers come into the District 10 Region 3 match with a 5-3 record. In their last match, Fairview notched a victory over Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA), 18-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Tigers confront the Rocky Grove Orioles (Franklin, PA) in a District 10 Region 2 match, on Tuesday, April 28. Maplewood will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Orioles come into the match with a 4-7 record after their 9-1 non-league win over Reynolds (Greenville, PA).
