Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE), 11-8 in a league test.

With the win, Lincoln Southwest upgrades its record to 14-12 on the season. The Silver Hawks host Kearney (Kearney, NE) to battle the Bearcats in a non-league test on Saturday, April 30. The Bearcats come into the test with a record of 14-8. Kearney lost 11-9 in their recent non-league test against Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE)
