Virginia High School Soccer - Catholic knocks off First Flight

April 28, 2022: Virginia Beach, VA 23462

The Catholic Crusaders soccer team scored 4 points and limited the visiting First Flight Nighthawks to 1 in the Crusaders non-league victory on Thursday.

Next, the Crusaders face the Hampton Roads Academy Navigators (Newport News, VA) in a Tidewater contest, on Monday, May 2. Catholic will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Navigators enter the contest with a 3-6 record after their 6-1 league loss to Norfolk Christian (Norfolk, VA).

The Nighthawks now have a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northeastern for a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A contest on Monday, May 2. First Flight will face a Eagles team coming off a 1-1 non-league Perquimans (Hertford, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 7-9.
