Kansas High School Softball - Galena topped by Frontenac
April 28, 2022: Galena, KS 66739 The Frontenac Raiders softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Galena Bulldogs to 0 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Frontenac moves its record to 8-1 on the year. The Raiders travel to Wellsville (Wellsville, KS) to play the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, May 2. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 7-6. Wellsville lost 7-1 in their recent league game against Santa Fe Trail (Carbondale, KS)
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Mt. Vernon Mountaineers (Mt. Vernon, MO) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 3. Galena will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Mountaineers come into the test with a 25-6 record after their 13-8 non-league win over Strafford (Strafford, MO).
