April 28, 2022: Chesapeake, VA 23321 In Thursday's league contest, the Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA) softball team overwhelmed the host Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA), by a margin of 10-4.
With the triumph, Great Bridge moves its record to 8-3 on the year. The Wildcats host Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Tigers in a Southeastern contest on Tuesday, May 3. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 0-7. Oscar Smith lost 14-1 in their recent non-league contest against Green Run (Virginia Beach, VA)
In their next game, the Bruins play the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints (Suffolk, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, May 2. Western Branch will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Saints come into the contest with a 16-2 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA).
