New York High School Softball - Salem loses to Greenwich
April 28, 2022: Greenwich, NY 12834 The Greenwich Witches softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Salem Generals to 0 in the Witches non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Greenwich moves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Witches host Stillwater (Stillwater, NY) to clash with the Warriors in a Section 2 Wasaren game on Friday, April 29. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 8-2. Stillwater won 7-0 in their recent league game against Hoosic Valley (Schaghticoke, NY)
In their next game, the Generals clash with the Granville Golden Horde (Granville, NY) in a Adirondack game, on Wednesday, May 4. Salem will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Golden Horde come into the game with a 5-2 record after their 1-0 league loss to Warrensburg (Warrensburg, NY).
