Illinois High School Softball - Olympia bounces Rantoul
April 28, 2022: Stanford, IL 61774 The Olympia Spartans (Stanford, IL) softball routed the visiting Rantoul Eagles (Rantoul, IL), 17-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Spartans (18-3) will now prepare for their bout against Normal University (Normal, IL). The Pioneers go into the non-league bout with a 11-12 record.
The Eagles now possess a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Illinois Valley Central for a Illini Prairie bout on Saturday, April 30. Rantoul will confront a Grey Ghosts squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Canton (Canton, IL). The Grey Ghosts record now stands at 12-5.
