In Friday's league challenge, the Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO) baseball squad nipped the host Ponderosa Mustangs (Parker, CO), by a margin of 3-2.

With the win, Castle View betters its record to 9-9 on the season. The Sabercats host Cherokee Trail (Aurora, CO) to face the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, April 29. The Cougars enter the bout with a record of 10-6. Cherokee Trail won 10-0 in their recent league bout against Overland (Aurora, CO)

Next, the Mustangs face the Regis Jesuit Raiders (Aurora, CO) in a 5A Continental bout, on Monday, May 1. Ponderosa will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record. The Raiders enter the bout with a 11-5 record after their 11-7 league loss to Chaparral (Parker, CO).
