April 28, 2023: Bethany, IL 61914 In Friday's league challenge, the Okaw Valley Timberwolves (Bethany, IL) baseball squad triumphed over the visiting Cumberland Pirates (Toledo, IL), by a final score of 8-1.
With the win, Okaw Valley upgrades its record to 9-7 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to Sullivan (Sullivan, IL) to battle the Redskins in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 29. The Redskins come into the challenge with a record of 12-8. Sullivan lost 8-5 in their recent league challenge against St. Teresa (Decatur, IL)
With the defeat, Cumberland falls to 7-10 on the season. The Pirates host Heritage (Broadlands, IL) to battle the Hawks in a Lincoln Prairie challenge on Monday, May 1. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-13. Heritage won 13-6 in their recent league challenge against Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL)
