Wisconsin High School Baseball - Platteville defeats East Dubuque
April 28, 2023: Platteville, WI 53818 Platteville Hillmen (Platteville, WI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting East Dubuque Warriors (East Dubuque, IL), 10-4 in a non-league test.
With the win, Platteville upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Hillmen host Lancaster (Lancaster, WI) to battle the Flying Arrows in a Southwest Wisconsin battle on Tuesday, May 2. The Flying Arrows enter the battle with a record of 6-4. Lancaster lost 13-3 in their recent non-league battle against Viroqua (Viroqua, WI)
The Warriors now possess a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pearl City for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 29. East Dubuque will play a Wolves squad coming off a 8-4 league win over Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 11-7.
