New York High School Baseball - Greenwich edged by Maple Hill
April 28, 2023: Castleton on Hudson, NY 12033 The Maple Hill Wildcats got by the visiting Greenwich Witches baseball team by a count of 5-4 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chatham for a Section 2 Patroon bout on Tuesday, May 2. Maple Hill will face a Panthers team coming off a 14-0 league win over Cairo-Durham (Cairo, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 12-0.
Next, the Witches face the Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians (Waterford, NY) in a Section 2 Wasaren bout, on Saturday, April 29. Greenwich will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record.
