In Friday's league test, the host Northside Mustangs lacrosse squad scored a tight 5-3 victory over the Taft Eagles.

The Mustangs now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lincoln Park for a Chicago Public test on Monday, May 1. Northside will face a Lions squad coming off a 9-4 league loss to Kenwood (Chicago, IL). The Lions record now stands at 0-5.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, May 2. Taft will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 3-10 record after their 14-12 non-league win over Regina Dominican (Wilmette, IL).
