In Friday's league test, the visiting Albemarle Patriots lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-8 victory over the Monticello Mustangs.

The Patriots now have a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Orange County for a Jefferson test on Tuesday, May 2. Albemarle will face a Fighting Hornets squad coming off a 20-11 non-league loss to Liberty (Bealeton, VA). The Fighting Hornets record now stands at 4-3.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, May 3. Monticello will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record.
