South Carolina High School Soccer - Batesburg-Leesville Barnwell
April 28, 2023: Batesburg, SC 29006 Batesburg-Leesville Panthers (Batesburg, SC) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Barnwell Warhorses (Barnwell, SC), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the Eau Claire Shamrocks (Columbia, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, May 1. Batesburg-Leesville will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record. The Shamrocks enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 6-0 league win over Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC).
The Warhorses now possess a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodland for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 1. Barnwell will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Academic Magnet (North Charleston, SC). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-5.
