The Armstrong Trojans (Armstrong, IL) softball routed the visiting Iroquois West Raiders (Gilman, IL), 17-3 in Friday's league bout.

The Trojans (11-7) will now prepare for their bout against Oakwood (Fithian, IL). The Comets go into the Vermilion Valley bout with a 7-14 record. In their last bout, Oakwood notched a victory over North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN), 13-5, in a non-league bout.
