In Monday's non-league game, the host Wilmington Greyhounds baseball team scored a close 7-3 win over the Slippery Rock Rockets.

The Greyhounds (7-8) will now prepare for their game against Mercer (Mercer, PA). The Mustangs go into the District 10 Region 1 game with a 9-3 record. In their last game, Mercer nudged Laurel (New Castle, PA), 10-4, in a non-league game.

Next, the Rockets play the Grove City Eagles (Grove City, PA) in a District 10 Region 2 game, on Wednesday, April 30. Slippery Rock will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 3-9 record after their 5-4 league win over Hickory (Hermitage, PA).
