The Leyden Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Taft Eagles to 1 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.

The Eagles now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Maine West for a non-league outing on Monday, May 19.

With the loss, Taft drops to 12-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Chicago Washington (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Patriots in a challenge on Tuesday, April 29.
