Illinois High School Soccer - Andrew nudges Sandburg
April 28, 2025: Orland Park, IL 60462 Fans at Monday's league battle between the Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL) and the host Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL), saw Andrew's soccer squad hold off Sandburg by a count of 3-2.
The Thunderbolts (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL). The Chargers enter the battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Stagg was edged by Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Eagles battle the Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) in a battle, on Wednesday, April 30. Sandburg will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record.
