New York High School Lacrosse - Emma Willard drops to Cohoes
April 28, 2025: Cohoes, NY 12047 Cohoes Tigers (Cohoes, NY) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Monday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Emma Willard Jesters (Troy, NY), 16-0 in a league game.
With the victory, Cohoes advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to La Salle Institute (Troy, NY) to play the Cadets in a Section 2 Colonial game on Tuesday, April 29. The Cadets come into the game with a record of 3-3. La Salle Institute lost 15-4 in their recent league game against Hoosick Falls/Tamarac (Hoosick Falls, NY)
The Jesters now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenwich for a non-league game on Thursday, May 1. Emma Willard will play a Witches team coming off a 19-6 non-league loss to Voorheesville (Voorheesville, NY). The Witches record now stands at 4-5.
