Delaware High School Soccer - Newark toppled by Concord
April 28, 2025: Newark, DE 19711 Concord Raiders (Wilmington, DE) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Newark Yellowjackets (Newark, DE), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Concord advances its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Raiders host Glasgow (Newark, DE) to clash with the Dragons in a Blue Hen - Flight B test on Wednesday, April 30. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 4-5. Glasgow lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Red Lion Christian Academy (Bear, DE)
The Yellowjackets now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hodgson Vo-Tech for a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. Newark will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.
