April 28, 2025: Esmond, RI 02917 The North Kingstown Skippers baseball team scored 6 runs and held the host Smithfield Sentinels to 1 in the Skippers non-league win on Monday.
The Skippers now hold a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cranston East for a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. North Kingstown will play a Thunderbolts team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 0-4.
With the defeat, Smithfield drops to 1-6 on the year. The Sentinels travel to Cumberland (Cumberland, RI) to play the Clippers in a non-league test on Thursday, May 1. The Clippers go into the test with a record of 2-1. Cumberland won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Cranston East (Cranston, RI)
