Illinois High School Lacrosse - Lake Zurich overwhelms South Elgin
April 28, 2025: Lake Zurich, IL 60047 Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Lake Zurich Bears (Lake Zurich, IL) and the visiting South Elgin Storm (South Elgin, IL), witnessed Lake Zurich's lacrosse squad top South Elgin by a score of 15-5.
The Bears (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Libertyville (Libertyville, IL). The Wildcats enter the North Suburban contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Libertyville beat Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL), 12-9, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Storm meet the St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, April 30. South Elgin will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Fighting Saints enter the contest with a 9-0 record after their 14-10 league win over St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL).
