In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Augusta Beavers softball team scored a tight 9-8 win over the Colfax Vikings.

The Beavers (9-1) will now prepare for their match against Melrose-Mindoro (Melrose, WI). The Mustangs come into the Dairyland - Large match with a 9-1 record. In their last match, Melrose-Mindoro nipped Eau Claire Immanuel Lutheran (Eau Claire, WI), 3-2, in a non-league match.

Next up, the Vikings face the Glenwood City Hilltoppers (Glenwood City, WI) in a Dunn - St. Croix contest, on Thursday, April 30. Colfax will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the contest with a 0-8 record after their 10-0 league loss to Boyceville (Boyceville, WI).
