Massachusetts High School Baseball - Amherst-Pelham Regional defeats Hopkins Academy
April 29, 2022: Amherst, MA 01002 Amherst-Pelham Regional Hurricanes (Amherst, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Hopkins Academy Golden Hawks (Hadley, MA), 14-7 in a non-league test.
With the win, Amherst-Pelham Regional upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Agawam (Agawam, MA) to battle the Brownies in a Valley test on Monday, May 2. The Brownies come into the test with a record of 4-5. Agawam lost 11-2 in their recent non-league test against Pope Francis (Chicopee, MA)
With the defeat, Hopkins Academy falls to 3-4 on the season. The Golden hawks host McCann Tech (North Adams, MA) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Saturday, April 30. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 4-3. McCann Tech won 12-2 in their recent non-league test against Hoosac Valley (Cheshire, MA)
