Delaware High School Baseball - Sussex Academy loses to Smyrna
April 29, 2022: Smyrna, DE 19977 The Smyrna Eagles baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Sussex Academy Seahawks to 2 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Eagles (8-4) will now prepare for their match against Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE). The Riders go into the Henlopen - Northern match with a 6-5 record. In their last match, Caesar Rodney was overwhelmed by Wilmington Charter (Wilmington, DE), 11-9, in a non-league match.
The Seahawks (1-7) will now prepare for their match against Tatnall (Wilmington, DE). The Hornets go into the non-league match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, Tatnall was overwhelmed by Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE), 13-8, in a non-league match.
