The Avon Lake Shoremen (Avon Lake, OH) lacrosse triumphed over the host Northview Wildcats (Sylvania, OH), 19-8 in Friday's non-league outing.

With the win, Avon Lake upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Shoremen travel to Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a non-league outing on Saturday, April 30. The Yellow Jackets go into the outing with a record of 9-3. Perrysburg 0-0 in their recent league outing against Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH)

With the defeat, Northview drops to 2-12 on the season. The Wildcats host Southview (Sylvania, OH) to battle the Cougars in a Region 5 outing on Tuesday, May 3.
