April 29, 2022: Lake City, MI 49651 Adrian Maples (Adrian, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lake City Trojans (Lake City, MI), 18-15 in a non-league challenge.
The Maples now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kalkaska for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 30. Adrian will battle a Blazers squad coming off a 4-3 league win over Grayling (Grayling, MI). The Blazers record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Lake City falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host Pine River Area (Leroy, MI) to battle the Bucks in a Highland challenge on Tuesday, May 3. The Bucks enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
