South Warren Spartans (Bowling Green, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY), 5-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 18-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christian Academy-Louisville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 30.

With the loss, Boyle County falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, KY) to battle the Purples in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 30. The Purples enter the challenge with a record of 6-6. Bowling Green lost 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Christian County (Hopkinsville, KY)
