Kansas High School Softball - Cherryvale bounces Eureka
April 29, 2022: Cherryvale, KS 67335 Cherryvale Chargers (Cherryvale, KS) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Eureka Tornadoes (Eureka, KS), 12-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Chargers now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bluestem for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 2. Cherryvale will face a Lions squad coming off a 17-0 non-league win over Erie (Erie, KS). The Lions record now stands at 10-1.
With the loss, Eureka falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Tornadoes host Erie (Erie, KS) to face the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 2. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. Erie lost 17-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Bluestem (Leon, KS)
