April 29, 2022: Murrells Inlet, SC 29576 In Friday's non-league contest, the Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, SC) softball team overwhelmed the host St. James Sharks (Murrells Inlet, SC), by a margin of 9-3.
With the triumph, Georgetown moves its record to 7-5 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Gilbert (Gilbert, SC) to play the Indians in a non-league contest on Wednesday, May 4. The Indians come into the contest with a record of 18-3. Gilbert won 16-15 in their recent non-league contest against Batesburg-Leesville (Batesburg, SC)
In their next game, the Sharks play the River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, May 4. St. James will attempt to move on its 15-4 season record. The Gators come into the contest with a 2-12 record after their 10-3 league loss to White Knoll (Lexington, SC).
