Kentucky High School Softball - Henry County bounces Sacred Heart
April 29, 2022: New Castle, KY 40050 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Henry County Wildcats (New Castle, KY) and the visiting Sacred Heart Valkyries (Louisville, KY), witnessed Henry County's softball squad prevail over Sacred Heart by a count of 9-0.
The Wildcats now sport a 22-10 record. They play next when they travel to Carroll County for a District 31 battle on Monday, May 2. Henry County will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 14-2 league loss to Owen County (Owenton, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 1-16.
The Valkyries now possess a 15-11 record. They play next when they host Spencer County for a non-league battle on Monday, May 2. Sacred Heart will meet a Bears squad coming off a 19-6 non-league loss to Franklin County (Frankfort, KY). The Bears record now stands at 9-33.
