The Evansville Mater Dei Wildcats baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Northview Knights to 1 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Saturday.

The Wildcats (7-9) will now prepare for their match against South Knox (Vincennes, IN). The Spartans go into the non-league match with a 13-2 record. In their last match, South Knox was overwhelmed by Princeton (Princeton, IN), 4-3, in a non-league match.

The Knights (5-8) will now prepare for their match against Sullivan (Sullivan, IN). The Golden Arrows go into the Western Indiana match with a 6-10 record. In their last match, Sullivan gained a win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, IN), 4-3, in a non-league match.
