Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting L'Anse Creuse Lancers (Harrison Township, MI), 4-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Grosse Pointe South upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Sterling Heights Stevenson (Sterling Heights, MI) to battle the Titans in a Macomb Area - Red test on Monday, May 1. The Titans come into the test with a record of 8-3.

With the defeat, L'Anse Creuse falls to 3-12 on the season. The Lancers host Marysville (Marysville, MI) to battle the Vikings in a non-league test on Monday, May 1. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 4-4. Marysville won 7-6 in their recent league test against Port Huron (Port Huron, MI)
