Illinois High School Volleyball - Elgin tips St. Edward
April 29, 2023: Elgin, IL 60120 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Elgin Maroons (Elgin, IL) volleyball squad edged the visiting St. Edward Eagles (Lakewood, OH), by a margin of 2-1.
Next up, the Maroons battle the West Chicago Wildcats (West Chicago, IL) in a Upstate 8 contest, on Tuesday, May 2. Elgin will attempt to better on its 9-21 season record. The Wildcats come into the contest with a 15-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Geneva (Geneva, IL).
With the loss, St. Edward drops to 7-11 on the campaign. The Eagles host Hudson (Hudson, OH) to battle the Explorers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 2. The Explorers come into the contest with a record of 19-0. Hudson won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Jackson (Massillon, OH)
