The Hoover Vikings triumphed over the visiting Avon Eagles lacrosse team by a score of 15-4 in Saturday's non-league match.

With the win, Hoover upgrades its record to 8-2 on the year. The Vikings host Walsh Jesuit (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) to meet the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 2. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 10-4. Walsh Jesuit won 17-7 in their recent league challenge against Padua Franciscan (Parma, OH)
