Illinois High School Softball - North Boone bounces Woodstock
April 29, 2023: Woodstock, IL 60098 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) and the host Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL), witnessed North Boone's softball squad prevail over Woodstock by a count of 18-2.
The Vikings now sport a 17-4 record. They play next when they host Winnebago for a Big Northern match on Monday, May 1. North Boone will face a Indians squad coming off a 21-6 non-league win over Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL). The Indians record now stands at 12-6.
With the loss, Woodstock moves to 1-13 on the season. The Blue streaks host Harvard (Harvard, IL) to face the Hornets in a Kishwaukee River match on Thursday, May 4. The Hornets go into the match with a record of 6-8.
