New York High School Baseball - Monroe loses to East
April 29, 2024: Rochester, NY 14609 The East Eagles crushed the visiting Monroe Red Jackets baseball team by a count of 10-0 in Monday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 12-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Brighton for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 30. East will face a Bruins team coming off a 7-3 non-league win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NY). The Bruins record now stands at 3-5.
Next, the Red Jackets face the Franklin Bulldogs (Rochester, NY) in a Section 5 Rochester City Catholic bout, on Tuesday, April 30. Monroe will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 3-6 record after their 8-0 league loss to School of the Arts (Rochester, NY).
