Missouri High School Baseball - Mountain Grove nudged by Mansfield
April 29, 2024: Mansfield, MO 65704 The Mansfield Lions nudged the visiting Mountain Grove Panthers baseball team by a tally of 4-3 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Lions now hold a 19-2 record. They take the field next when they host Fordland for a Class 2 District 10 bout on Tuesday, April 30. Mansfield will face a Eagles team coming off a 8-2 non-league win over Walnut Grove (Walnut Grove, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 13-6.
Next, the Panthers face the Hollister Tigers (Hollister, MO) in a Class 4 District 10 bout, on Thursday, May 2. Mountain Grove will attempt to advance on its 9-11 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 4-14 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, MO).
