Illinois High School Soccer - Lane Tech knocks off Phoenix Military
April 29, 2024: Chicago, IL 60618 Lane Tech Champions (Chicago, IL) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Phoenix Military Firebirds (Chicago, IL), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Champions face the Amundsen Vikings (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 30. Lane Tech will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record.
The Firebirds now have a 6-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league challenge on Thursday, May 2. Phoenix Military will face a Rough Riders team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Schurz (Chicago, IL). The Rough Riders record now stands at 3-2.
