April 29, 2024: Gilford, NH 03249 The Gilford Golden Eagles softball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting Somersworth Toppers to 1 in the Golden Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Gilford moves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Golden Eagles travel to Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH) to play the Huskies in a non-league game on Thursday, May 2. The Huskies come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Toppers play the St. Thomas Aquinas Saints (Dover, NH) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, May 1. Somersworth will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
