Rhode Island High School Lacrosse - Westerly drops to Stonington

In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Stonington Bears lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-4 victory over the Westerly Bulldogs.

The Bears now have a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Bernard/Wheeler for a Eastern Connecticut - Small test on Thursday, May 2. Stonington will face a Saints squad coming off a 21-4 non-league win over Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT). The Saints record now stands at 6-3.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) in a Division 3 test, on Wednesday, May 1. Westerly will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Huskies come into the test with a 3-4 record after their 10-5 league loss to Narragansett (Narragansett, RI).
