Washington High School Softball - Lakewood bounces Bellingham
April 29, 2024: Bellingham, WA 98225 The Lakewood Cougars routed the host Bellingham Bayhawks softball squad by a count of 18-3 in Monday's league battle.
The Cougars (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against Sedro-Woolley (Sedro-Woolley, WA). The Cubs go into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle with a 12-0 record. In their last battle, Sedro-Woolley topped Squalicum (Bellingham, WA), 24-0, in a league battle.
The Bayhawks now sport a 0-17 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Harbor for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Thursday, May 2. Bellingham will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 12-5 league loss to Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-9.
