April 29, 2024: Jay, ME 04239 The Spruce Mountain Phoenix (Jay, ME) softball routed the visiting Waterville Panthers (Waterville, ME), 20-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Phoenix (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME). The Greyhounds go into the Class C South bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Lisbon notched a victory over Winslow (Winslow, ME), 17-9, in a non-league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Dirigo for a non-league bout on Wednesday, May 1. Waterville will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Hall-Dale (Farmingdale, ME). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.
